I would like to have touring hard lowers on my Dyna. Will using a touring engine guard make the adaption easier? I have read the lowers need trimming when mounted to a Dyna engine guard.

Thanks guys. I have considered both styles but leaning more toward late touring(FL). (Including a Road Glide fairing in the future) I still need to figure out what differences, if any, there are among the various model touring bike lowers. I have an OEM Dyna engine guard now and understand the lowers need to be trimmed to fit this bar. I was wondering how well the touring engine guard would fit the Dyna because I'm surmising that since the lowers were designed to fit the touring guard the lowers wouldn't need trimming.
