Denim Black
Hey Willie, how hard was the tach install? waht did you pay for it? Looks good!
Thanks
Alex
one dealer "warned" me about this color saying it scratches really easily, and he went to an unveiling for the bike where everybody sat on it, and he said within 2 hrs, it had so many scuffs, nicks, scratches on it he said he would never buy it. Does it scratch that easily?

My Denim Black does not have any scratches or scuffs on it and I got it in early August.
I have had the gas tank off and the tank consol off several times and there are no problems.
Probably this person was seeing dust or dirt on it due to all the peple trying it out. I have had
nothing on mine that a wet cloth and Harley Gloss would not fix. I personally feel a high gloss
clear coat would show more scratched than the Den Blk.
I am posting a close of the top of my tank as proof.

Cost is about $500.00 to do it right and not void the warranty.
Not hard to do just expensive for the Tach, consol, wiring and moving LED's to the HBar mount.
You do have to splice some wires to make the harness longer etc.
I spent several days studing the wiring diagram for the low rider and compared it to the St Bob
before I attempted it because I did not want to blow up a $168.00 Tach.
The Fat Boy head light bolts right on and provides very good light over stock and the cagers
seem to respect it more.
