Might as well throw my 2 cents in...

I went from a '99 Evo to a 2011 Wide Glide.
little bit of a learning curve as the lean angle is a lot less ! I have scraped my pipes on every sweet curve I've been in. The sound of an exhaust dragging on the tar makes me pee a little bit. Like fingers on a damn chalkboard.
getting used to it, and wouldn't trade it for a different beast if I could !

This is wisdom for the ages although a hot redhead could take 50% of my crap every time.

agreed. If you are scraping a non-lowered dyna on the dragon, you have, maybe, a few minutes before you have another problem that you may not walk away from.

Sidenote: the dragon is cool but theres a better road, NC hwy 209 (www.209therattler.com) not too far from it. less monkey business there.

The first thing I learned about purchasing a motorcycle is test riding all of your choices. The motorcycle for you usually becomes obvious after you ride them all. One thing to remember is that if there are little things you don't like about the bike you want, you can usually change it (I changed the mid controls on my new Low Rider S to forward controls because I wouldn't have purchased it with the mid controls).

I personally like the Wide Glide and just traded in a 2014 for a Low Rider S that I made almost into a Wide Glide.

I bought a new (leftover) Fat Bob.
A close friend bought a 16' street Bob.
They both sit in my garage as he does not have a garage. I have ridden both extensively, I will tell you hands down, the FXDF is the better riding bike.

After owning his street Bob for about 4 months this summer, he came over to put a new intake on his bike in my garage. While he was working on his bike, he dropped his phone on the floor and broke it. He asked if it would be OK to take mine to the mall to buy a new phone.
He returned 2 hours later aggravated, and said he wished he would have bought a fat bob.
The ride was so much more comfortable for him, and the difference in the brakes was quite noticable.
He said he also preferred the forwards, and drag bars to his controls.
I know I'm 6'0, and when I ride his, I feel like a sail with my knees up, and my arms out.[/QUOTE]

Thanks I guess I should look into them I just hate the headlight setup, but I would put forward controls on the bob and I like mini aprs
