The only time the dealers will waive any fees around here is December, when they are slow and want to drain inventory. Even then, all they ever waive is shipping and sometimes setup.
I told the salesman that I wasn't thrilled with the OTDprice he had quoted me and when he asked what I had in mind I said somewhere in the low $15k's. I'm amazed they are hanging on so tightly to an '06 when they still have plenty of '07's on the floorand '08's are just around the corner.
Dealers are like this. I still say if you really want that bike. go up some in price. I sure like my bike, but i would trade for that bike in a heartbeat . the dealer knows someone will buy that bike.just my thoughts. As i said before last year the dealers here local were getting 20k for it. over suggested price.
What did that one on e-bay go for ? someone has posted the link before i remember.
i bet the dealer would take 16.600 for that bike.
It seems this is the bike you really want.keep nagging the dealer .
Well, the good news is that the market is flooded, so you should be able to make a great deal on a nearly new bike. I just looked at a mint 2006 Wide Glide at the Yamaha dealer. It had a thousand miles and a whole bunch of chrome and extras. It was marked $15K, and that IS a negotiable price.

You have to ask yourself how much of a price premium you are willing to pay for a paint job and the old 88ci engine..?
So, ask the same dealer for a best price on a 07 FXDC and then compare that with the FXDI35, as the 07 FXDC in detail and kit is basically a FXDI35 without the paint job, but, with the 96ci engine.......

Yeah reserve was set at $13k. With tax, title, & plate it would be $13.8k and the warranty is up in 6 months.Looking at what others paid for the same bikeIMO it would beworth the extra $1.5k for a brand newmodel that hasa betterfinancing rate & 18 month longer warranty. I just think that once the price goes north of $16k that I should start lookingfor a '07 SG Custom.
