I've said it in many a Switchback thread, but I love the look of the blacked out Switchbacks. OP: Enjoy your new ride! She's a beauty.

Okay gonna jump on the band wagon! Just picked up a 2013 with 3000 miles. so far only ridden a couple of times but I dig it. Got a few more months of winter here in Colorado so it's getting tore down for apes and progressive 412 11 inch shocks as well as a backrest for Momma. Also the first scooter I've owned in 20 years the wife will ride with me !!!

I've got a used pair of those shocks in chrome if you want them.

Suppose Harley would have done something like that. (The Blacked Out)
Made the Switchback a little more like the FatBob, or that new Road King Special. MAYBE even hit the nostalgic button. More like the Heritage,
spoke wheels, or 80's FLH style mag wheels. Oh and more paint options.
Think they'd have sold one or two more Switchbacks?

Look at the 04-08 Road Glides. Decent colors, but those stripes.
And they wondered why sales were poor. WHAT were they thinking?
