Default stripping paint off HD fairing

Has anyone had luck using any paint strippers on the HD quarter fairing? I got a used fairing for cheap but it has peeling paint so i wanted to strip and repaint.

I know aircraft paint remover makes a plastic model. I heard brake fluid can work too but I dont know if the plastic will adsorb it

Personally, I'd take a DA sander to it before I'd use stripper. Most strippers can or will damage the gel coat, fiberglass or plastic. We never strip such parts due to the damage we've seen in the past. A DA sander makes a pretty simple job of it. Paint stripper can make a real mess of it.
