Default Phone calls while riding

A big part of the joy of riding is the freedom from many of life's distractions, but I don't want to wait around for important phone calls. Is there any kind of voice activated phone systems that will allow me to keep both hands on the bike? What do you all use?

My job requires me to be accessible 24X7. I have considered a wire ear piece for under the do-rag, but don't want the hassle.

If my phone was bluetooth capable, I'd synch it with my Zumo 550 and use a bluetooth earpiece, but for now I keep the ringer on loud and check the phone at each stop.

No. I am a police Captain responsible for the lives and safety of over 50 young employees who do very dangerous work. If they need me, I go. 24X7. No hesitation.

I have a small budwiser pouch on my handlebars. I can hear the phone ring at most speeds. I can easily check who it is and if important, I stop and return the call. My ringer is very loud on my cell.

Scala is one bluetooth answer, but that would be the way to go so you could answer while riding. And then pull over to talk

Just get a loud ring tone so you can hear it and set to vibrate also (don't think you would notice it just vibrating while riding). In your line of work I would think you would want to pull off the road to have the conversation without all the exhaust and wind noise. Also to have no distractionsfor your decision making for the young employees.

No one should be on a cell phone while riding, it's bad enough having to watch cagers doing it, going off the shoulder and crossing the lane lines while answering or talking.
My $0.02.
