I just bought a C&C seat for my Deluxe. Brand new it was pretty hard, but it's starting to loosen up a bit now. I've got about 800 miles on it so far.

I have my stock solo still looking for something a little better for long hauls

I'll answer for him. It does hold you in WAY better than the stock seat. The shape is a little different, and leather has a lot more grip to it. It's the most comfortable seat I've ever sat my boney azz on bar none. I'd buy another in a heartbeat. They are kind of strange in that when you first set on it, it's very firm but comfortable and then after a few minutes you sink into it. I've never had another seat feel as nice as these do. I guess that's why they have a premium price when you buy one. DON'T buy a used Corbin either. The foam breaks in to the original azz that sets on it.

Yes sir it is hidden. They send a stud that the back of the seat slides down and back on. The front has a cross bar you bolt to the frame, and the seat "clicks" down on it. To remove you insert the key it comes with on the right side. Nobody can steal it. You can just see the key cyl. in this pic.
