Good grief, I couldn't depin the damn connectors. Finally got one side depined but don't think I have them in the connector correct. Decided easier to just remove the wires from the bulb on the other end. Went to plug back in. On the bike there are three sets of wires. One with brown tape, white tape, and one with no tape. I assumed the one with no tape was for the tag. I plugged the signal with brown tape to the brown harness and white to white and tag to nothing. Ive got nothing. Anybody got any pics or wiring diagram. This is a 2016 street bob by the way
Having (re)built several cars/trucks/bikes/complicated mechanical & electrical stuff over the years, there are two things that I've determined are not optional PRIOR to beginning....
Take pics of everything. EVERYTHING. When you think you have everything documented, double the number of pics again. Pics pics & more pics. Digital pics are free. Take advantage. I've had projects that spanned several years with the thing disassembled for most of that time. Extensive & detailed pics have saved my *** many times.
Buy/borrow a set of good instructions (service manual, schematic, exploded views, etc.) And read them twice.
As you progress, take more pics and refer to those reference materials.
Aditionally, get (and use) the correct tools for the job.
Also, bag and/label all removed parts as they come off.

I always take a pic of the connector and mark the top with grease pen so I can't mix em up. I use a sewing needle to in clip the lock on the outside of the connector, then use the same needle to disengage the locking tab inside the connector. It's very easy this way. Just gotta be gentle. Anyway I have a service manual from my 15 street bob that I'd be willing to part with for 35 bucks shipped if you're interested. Everything should be the same as your 16. Pm me if interested.
Normally I do the phone pic thing but I thought " its just 3 wires" then I got frustrated with the de pinning . Guess I'm gonna break down and buy a depin tool. I've done 3 bars and have needed one on several occasions .
Honestly, you don't need the depin tool. I depin ALOT of connectors (Chrysler tech/Harley enthusiast). That being said, I have used one once, and went back to the sewing needle. I have two sizes, and nothing works better. These are the two I use. I use the larger one most.
I use the T-pin more than anything. Go to Joann fabrics or Michaels and you can get 20 of them for a few bucks
I tried using a pic tool and 2 different size paper clips and I can't hardly get them to depin for nothing. The bigger connectors are no problem but these for the turn signals are a pita!!! I'm sure I'm doing something wrong but I screwed with those things for a hour I bet. Like I said , usually I don't have any trouble but these..
