If all you want to do is install your existing midglide wheel, fender and fork legs into a set of Dyna Wide Glide Trees, the calcs are easy...no mock-up required

* Dyna (Wide Glide Trees tube center-to-center dimension) - (the midglide dimension) ÷ 2 = X
* X + existing Left Spacer = NEW Left Spacer
* X + existing Right Spacer = NEW Right Spacer
* X = NEW Caliper Spacers OR NEW Rotor Spacer
* X = NEW Fender Spacers
* 41547-07A Axle

Also, I would be quite surprised if the Hawg Halters doesn't include the wheel spacers...that's kind of an important part of a widening kit.
I'd be surprised to , but I'm checking. Wouldnt be worth the kit, without those.
I like your Math, but not sure I'm good enough to do those measurements exactly correct without mocking the thing up?

Absolutely! That would be great. Just to be clear: I'm planning on using the stock SB hub, laced to a 21, NOT a wide Glide wheel/hub.

Am I correct in saying that if I was to spend more money and buy the Hawg Halter conversion kit, then I'd just be bolting **** on, correct? The kit does include the axle spacers (just spoke with them). I wouldn't have to cut any spacers?

Correct...assuming they made their parts correctly

That's really not a bad price for axle, wheel spacers, rotor spacer, and fender spacers

I've found errors on Ronnie's microfiche before. St. Charles microfiche used to be leagues ahead, but they recently changed format and lost a LOT of good info (Bolt specs!). Can't speak to the accuracy yet. Wish I could find another site as good as St. Charles' used to be.

It's about the "Backend"...

Ronnies and NOW St Charles use HLSM, you probably are looking for ARI (st charles used previously).

Another that uses ARI ...http://shop.outpostalaska.com/OEMpartfinder.htm
