I know it isn't a solo but it's hard to beat a Fatbob seat for comfort. It's wider than a Wideglide seat. I put mine on my Brothers Wideglide when I ride it.

Yikes! I put something like that on my Suzuki seat and could hardly stay on the bike for weeks till it wore off.

I wanted to once again thank everybody for their input - I did read all your comments. I think I'm going with the Mustang. I've got four days off at Easter and I'm heading down to do Skyline Drive and the Appalachian Parkway. Like I said earlier I've been riding the Bare Bones for a couple of years now and will continue to use it in town, but anything more than a couple of hours and it gets pretty uncomfortable. Who knows maybe with a, "real" seat I can go all day after getting accustomed to my LePara **** whipping!

The stock seat on my Switchback was a torture device. I changed it for the Mustang Vintage wide solo and it is way way better.

Wise choice.

Last week I did a 600km day on Thursday and a 500km day on Friday on a mix of roads from gawd awful to great and pulled up fine.
