Default Fat Bob stock fork tube length?

Can anybody tell me the stock fork tube length on a 2014 Fat Bob?

I found Motorcycle Metals website listing the stock Harley fork tube lengths, but the Fat Bob isn't listed.

Searched here and can't find any posts with the number either. Maybe my search foo sux?

Thanks Smogbob, I appreciate it!

I knew most of the Dyna were 25.5" but I couldn't find a listing for the Fat Bob. I have a hard time trusting ebay sellers getting their info right, but I did verify with Howard at Motorcycle Metal that they indeed are 25.5, the same as the other Dyna models.

What's interesting is that the tubes may be the same length (and I haven't confirmed that) of the other 49mm Dynas (except FXDWG), but they have a Fat Bob ONLY part#. If no length difference at all, the difference would probably have to be at internal check valve assy of the fork tube. The dampers also have a Fat Bob ONLY part#

+1 on above point, always good to check everything, just in case, I always look here at least you can see all the part numbers and rides that fits, and where it goes.

Default GSXR tubes vs fat bob tubes

I have a 2010 fat bob, trying to convert the front end to GSXR forks

the GSXR forks are listed as 29 inches, Fat Bob 25.5. I’m assuming this is when they’re compressed? As that measurement comes midway between my triple tree clamps. The forks themselves on the bike from axel to the top of the tubes measures 32 inches

what I’m wondering is do Ohlins make their measurement the same way. Ie, will a GSXR tube listed as 29 inches be 3.5” longer and therefore work, or is it too short and I need to buy drop triple trees and fork extensions?

Any help appreciated!

Thank you
