Just out of sheer curiosity, has anyone fitted a tail light from the newer Fat Bobs into the older rear fender?
Almost seems like if it was flipped upside down it might work.
If anyone has any other setups beside the tribar I'd greatly appreciate the input also.
Being doing some searching and I think the BAL tail lights are the option I'll go with if I keep the stock bracket.
No, but I know the new fender will fit on an older Fatbob.
Good to know, might keep that in mind for the long run. If I had black tins this would be pretty tempting since I recently saw a complete fender on eBay. It would probably add up real quick if I got it repainted in Sedona Orange though.
I'Ve had a BAL1 on 2 different Dynas & a Sportster since 2007,still going strong & no problems, plus a lot of positive comments about its visibility from other road users, plus i lost the magnet a couple of years ago & they shipped me a new 1 for free.
So in addition to the BAL tail lights I've found these options from Joker Machine and Cycle Visions.
Does anyone know if there's any place that still sells the Joker Machine one?
I've only been able to find pictures of it so far.
I've got a 2011 FXDF.
I know I've seen a Cycle Visions on a fat bob on here somewhere and I'm pretty sure someone had modded one of the Joker Machine ones to fit too so I was hoping I might be able to do that lol.
Hi Esco11 I have a new Joker Machine Tail light assembly like the one in your photo above. brought for a project but never used. If your interested drop me a email ssute@xtra.co.nz
