I assume that you already have the alarm installed on your bike. I'll also assume you have an '06 or '07.
The siren installs behind the electrical panel, and is best reached by removing the battery tray. Pull the battery, three bolts for the battery tray. Find a small flashlight, and look in at the rear of the electrical panel. There is a small plug with a dust cover taped to to some wiring. Pull the tape, remove the dust cover, plug in siren. Siren then slides into a slot on the backside of the electrical panel. If it's a Siren II, run the attena up and it's held by velcro to the frame under the seat.
My bad, didnt pay close attention to your post. The security system is installed but not the siren. And I thought after reading your post why would I be asking the location if I already had it installed[sm=bangbang.gif]. Guess I should pay closer attention next time
hi, my superglide is an 05. any idea where can i find the plug?
cheers
The 2 prong plug socket is taped to the harness behing the fuse panel. Gotta really look for it. I used a $4.99 electronic siren assembly thingy from Radio Shack. Soldered a pin to each wire and just pushed em into the plug and taped it up. Works well with the chirps for alarm on / alarm off and alarm for minor movement and then full out alarm. Irritatingly loud.
radio shack is cheap and works good... personally i went with a INSANE loud siren! it is awesome! you can hear it from practicly a mile away when it goes off... it has saved the bike once already from being stolen!
