Recently changed the clutch cable and I noticed that the clutch lever was pretty much all the way out before the clutch would grab. Fast forward a day, started to ride and bike just felt weird, so I turned around and went home. Once home the tension on the clutch lever was so bad I could have taken the lever off. I opened the right side of the clutch assembly and on the rod there are to washers and the bearing thrust was sheared off. my question is can I just replace the bearing thrust or do I have to replace the whole rod assembly.

I would replace the assembly if it were me. I'd also pull the outer primary cover and maybe even the clutch assembly and make sure there wasn't any other failures or worn parts.
