Sissy bar installation
If you remove the seat you'll see where the wiring from the fender is running in; simple disconnect/reconnect. The hardest part is getting your arm up under the fender and put the wiring back in the side channels but I'm a scrawny guy so it's pretty easy
The fender is held on by only the 4 bolts so if you're completely removing the docking setup be sure to put some towels between the tire and the underside of the fender to support the fender when it's loose to prevent any scratches; I can't tell you about how the dealer put in that relocation/docking, hopefully it wasn't necessary to make any cuts; I've never used it so I don't know.
With the stock sissy bar and rigid sideplates the connectors will come right out of the holes in the fender and strut with no cutting needed...
Edited to add:
No de-pinning needed, no cutting needed; the holes in the fender and strut are big enough that the connectors can come right out and back in; like I said, the hardest part of the entire job is getting the fender wiring back in to the side channels. A few Cirque du Soleil moves, and you've got it done

Doesn't look like the connector is going to fit through the bolt that's connected to the turn signal. Might fit through the docking point though. Looks like I will have to un-pin after all.
