End of last season my original battery in my street bob began getting weak. This season, as I'm waking up the bike from winter sleep I order a Drag Specialties Performance battery from Dennis Kirk, using their fitment guide. Shows up quick, slp it on the trickle charger to top it off, then went to install it last weekend, it slides in the battery box 1/2 way and that's it. Stuck, too tall, won't go in any further. I tried to push in more (ok, knocked on it) and almost couldn't get it back out. Took it out, compared height to original battery, and sure enough it is taller than original.
Returned battery, will argue restock fee, but wondering if maybe just going with stock oem battery is the best idea?
Get a Yuasa GYZ20HL for your bike. Not only is it a perfect fit, it will start your bike like no other AGM battery can. I've used OEM batteries and Big Crank batteries and there truly is no comparison. I won't use anything else.
Thanks guys. I have no extra electronics on the bike, stock lighting, only occasionally hook up a power vision to update tune. What stores carry Yuasa? Just out of curiosity and for price comparison...
The GYZ20HL fits correctly in the Dyna battery box; 320 CCA, 20 Ah. $86.95; add something else you need to your order so you can get the free shipping; there's always something else we need

Man,, that is an excellent price. If I were the OP, I'd jump on this and add a set of upgraded cables to the order to save shipping and to get even more oomph from that battery. Just my $0.02.
