Default 2005 sglide won't start after sitting

recently bought an 05 fxd.previous owner said it had been sitting for about 18 months.
bike was dead and needed a new clutch cable. I replaced cable and battery, go to start bike I get power to head lite/tail and break lights, high beam, neutural, oil indicator lights work but no power to spedo/odometer or horn. Also, fuel pump never winds on. Bike acts like it's only flipped in to Acc mode. Changed all the fuses including maxi for good measure and tried the restart sequence to no avail. I'm thinking it could be in security storage mode but fob doesn't seem to be either working or reconignzing( I changed fob battery) and previous owner didn't know a security manual code, that wouldn't work tho anyway because there is no power to the odometer.
Anyone have any suggestions or ideas before I take it to the bike shop?

My 05 FXDLI will go to sleep if not ridden/started after "X" amount of time. If I turn the ignition key to RUN, then push the FOB once it wakes it up into the security mode and flash the turn signal lights. A double click on the FOB will unlock the security mode and then I can start it up. The center portion of the FOB is similar to the mouse on a computer.

thanks! Will try this in the morning.
when yours goes to sleep so you get fuel pump spooling and any power to spedo/odometer? Even my horn just clicks doesn't make a sound. I changed out all the fuses with brand new ones but still seems weird. It's like half the bike is getting power the other isn't. And I am no electrician. I don't even like changing the battery on this bike.
