OK, so does anyone else think that the HD turn signal relocation kit is total CRAP???!!!????!!! I just put in on my Dyna, and thing looks awful. They didn't even give any real good way to hide the wiring, not too mention they stick out WAY too far!!!!
What other relocation kits have you guys gone with 'cause this one has GOT TO GO!!!!!
Sorry I should have been morespecific, I was referring to the front signal relocation kit. My Bad!
I did mine last year and at first I didn't like the looks at all. After a while I got used to the looks and just recently I bought a quick release windshield. Once you put the windshield on the placement of the signals looks right.
I had one on my bob when I got itbut just removed it and put the signals back to stock location. the wires on mine were brought through the threaded hole on the turn signals and ran through the hollow tube that the kit comes with then through the license plate bracket and fender and finally to the plug in behind the taillight. you couldn't see any wiring on mine before I removed it. when I put everything back to stock I had to cut the terminals off and pull the wires back through the threaded hole on the signals so they came out of the rear holes.
If you are moving them for a detachable sissy bar and/or fender rack, see my recent post below - this won't help you out if your running saddle bags. Yes, people are pointing and laughing at your HD relocate kit - it is FUGLY.

Lesson learned: Do not purchase accessories until you see how they look installed.
I'm planning on putting on a set of kuryakyn silver bullets on the rear, but I don't want to put them in the stock location. Does anybody have the HD part number for just the part of the rear signal relocation kit that goes on the fender strut to replace the bolt on the turn signal and fills in the space that the turn signals take up? I don't need any of the other parts of the kit, just the part that replaces the stuff on the fender strut.
my 2 cents worth, whenever I am among a large group of rides,i.e. rallies or benefit rides, I like to look at the same models that I own and see how a particular piece looks on that bike. you would be surprised how much $$ you can save.
