Ok.. I put on my gunslinger seat on my 01 low rider, dude it for a week. Now *** isn't liking the seat! I like the profile of the seat, and the way it sits. But it's not a pleasant seat to do 200 mile trips.
So I put my Mustang wide touring seat back on, and it's way more comfortable. But I don't like the height of the seat .
I have 12 inch bars on the bike and the gunslinger sits me at the right height, the Mustang sits me up so now I want 14 inch bars...
So I guess my rant, and the question is what seat gives you the low profile and is comfortable?
I've gone through 3 different seats the past year. Was looking for low profile and comfy. Danny gray, with gel insert, I don't plan to tour on it, but I've done a few 300 mile rides on it no problem. My arms give out before my @ss from the wind. I think the seat I got was called a weekender or weekday. Something with a W. Same height as the SB solo seat and a better profile around the thigh/groin to move around. Seat Looks great without that chunky look.
Mustang wide tripper for me. 600-700km with regular stops, pulled up fine. Did 1000km with regular stops and was still ok to do 500km the next day (albeit a little sore)
Corbin/BMC Widowmaker. It is a little stiff for the first 1000 miles or so but is a fantastic seat after it breaks in. Do yourself a favor if you decide to go this route and order it from BMC instead of Corbin, MUCH better customer service and ships within days, not weeks or months.
I have this seat that came on a Switchback I just picked up. I am on the shorter side at 5'6" and this seat sat me back too far so clearly for a taller rider. The seat is brand new if anyone interested. Looked amazing on bike but the stock seat is working better for me.

I put a used Corbin on it and that seat should have had many miles on it as it was well worn and still sat like I was on the frame with slick leather under my butt.. And all I could think of was
