Fxdls forward control brake sticking

Fxdls forward control brake sticking
anyone have the brake pedal on their forwards not return and stay down until you lift it manually? I disconnected the linkage and it's still hard as **** to move so I know it's not the master cylinder, just curious what happened you did if you experienced this, (did it continue to stick and have to be replaced, or did lubricating it fix it for good) I'm going to attempt to remove it and lubricate it and see if it works or if it just sticks again. I'll post back when I do.

Removed the pedal, and sprayed with a lot of wd40 and it freed up enough to ride but still not 100% so I will be ordering a new one if I can get it separate from the forward control kit.

I had this happen on my footboard brake lever awhile back, had to pull the lever off the rotating pin it sits on, put some grease on it (maybe some anti-sieze might work) and put it back together, no more issues as of yet., I did have to use a punch to get then apart because it was so tight do to no lube, slide right together once it was lubed.

Yea that pin didn't want to come out so I just sprayed with wd40. If the dealer stocks them I'll try to remove it again, otherwise I'll just order a new one. Don't want to risk havin my bike down for a day or two.
