What is your time frame for getting the bike? I do not tour or take long trips, so the LR is what I went with. Considering getting a LR S, which I demo'd several times last year.
Like some of these others I have 2 bikes. Love my road glide for the long trips but I find myself riding my LRS a lot more. I did put on a conelys t-sport fairing just to get the wind off my chest a little and love it! I'm hoping to do a little motor work to mine as well.....
If I buy a 2017 LRS, what options do I have for cam and exhaust? Being in California, this would void the warranty, correct? Do all mods need to be performed by the dealer only? How does the stock LRS exhaust sound?
You can't get test rides unless it's on a demo day? My dealer will let me ride whatever (and as many as) I want? Or am I misunderstanding the concept.
I am not sure, haven't had a chance to visit the dealer yet. I checked HD website and the local demo days are several months out. Not sure if HD will let you ride a brand new bike.

Really? Of course they will. It's called a "test ride" and happens every time the sell a bike, and even when they don't... All you need is a motorcycle license.
Edit: 4000+ posts. Ok, you're f'ing with me I see.
