So found this fairing is for a Yamaha stryker. Got it to mount nicely. Problem is the headlight sits about 5 inches at least too far rearward. Need some ideas how to get the headlight forward.
Could you use a piece of aluminium or metal and just push forward the headlight bracket?

That won't work. It needs to be some kind of block. This is what's on there now. The fairing looks ****ing sweet. I had it on a Stryker I had years ago. Never was able to get rid of it. Strykers are not popular at all.
I was thinking you could use two of those long pieces on each side of the present bolt that attaches to the block and the other side connects to the headlight bolt.
I'm using two of them to make a small tank lift so thought it would be the same in theory.
And it does look really nice on there
