Just bought this bike as a backup bike and of course had to change the seat to a Solo seat with a backrest and now have to change the handlebars to have a better reach while riding and sitting back in my comfy seat with backrest. What handlebars would fit/look good and bring the reach way back to me? Mahalo Kalina
How much did the seat raise your riding position? I'm partial to mini-apes, but T-bars or something with more pull back may be up your alley. The unfortunate thing about T-bars is there isn't much you can do to adjust them from their position so if you do go that route, get the reach feel for them installed on another bike to make sure they have the rise, pullback, and width you want. Here's my 06 Low Rider with some 12" mini-apes. My seat sits pretty far back so I have my apes rotated down pretty far. I can't go much further though as I would start losing my leverage and the angle between the upright bars and the handles starts to give a bad hand position.
