You need a better air delivery system and a pcIII or Vance & Hines fuelpak. I understand that a HD stealership can reflash your ECM for the pipes, but it won't be as good as the other 2 products. You won't need the reflash with the PCIII or fuelpac. I just ordered V/h mufflers and fuelpak; am debating which air system to get. Getting all 3 is more money, but you won't be sorry.
You are right Sal, but don't forget the Dobeck TFI it's a very good product not so expensive. Very easy to fit and set. Don't need any download and can still be used with some biggest engine mods. I'v got one on my 06 Street Bob and I am very happy with. Gunny. Belgium.
If you just want to hear louder pipes, you're fine. No remap or EFI changes necessary.
If you want to get some more power or torque or ease up any surging from a lean condition, then opening up the airbox and adding additional fuel management would be aprapos.
