I removed my tank and I found the number 29 on the frame. I have a 2006 Street Bob. This was the first year for them. I wonder if the 29 means it was the 29th Bob off the line. I checked the vin to see if there is that type of info on there. There is not.

Typically Hand Writing information that may also already be there or not (in this case, it also has the Cast-In indication) is used for fast, easy, identification purposes at the factory while building the bike .
