Default Engine Light

I'd have put this in the tech forum but wanted it to see if it was a Dyna thing.
My engine light has been staying on about two minutes when i first start the bike and will come back on after about five minutes and then shut off for the rest of the ride. Bike's running fine. Any thoughts? Should i not ride until it's looked at?

i remember that if you do not wait until the engine light goes off before starting (electric fuel pump priming) that the engine light will do as you are describing.
