98 Dyna Wide Glide No Headlight At All
I have a Wide Glide that was Customized when I bought it. The front forks have been extended, the bike has been lowered, everything that could be chromed has been, the bike has had some motor work done to it, a custom rear fender, different seat, custom headlight, chrome switch plate covers, custom mirrors...you name it. I purchased this bike over ten years ago...never had a minutes trouble out of it. Oh one more thing...when it was going thru its customizing the turn signals were removed from the bike. The only lights on the bike are the dash lights, the headlight and the rear light. All have always worked as they should. Running light in the rear, brake light when I push the brake, high and low beam in the front.
Now last week I go out riding it gets dark I am back in the country lots of deer I go to high beam and I notice when I go from high beam to low beam there is a second or two max that I have no light at all...this has never been the case before. I stop at a friends house on the way home. We even talk about the light issue of my bike...I go to get on the bike to leave....I have no headlight at all. No high beam or low beam. I have dash lights and back running light and break light. But no headlight. Where do I start?

Remove the headlamp - start there - work backwards w/ VOM / trouble light
Wouldn't be surprised if you found the headlight plug jacked up
