you don't need a true-track....
the wobbles they say you need it for are the crappy stock tires!!!
now on the Dunlop qualifier rear (180/55) and a same size metzler on the front........WAAAAAYYYYYY BETTER!!!
so much better it's troublesome how crappy the stock tires are. i'm taking turns i was pushing at 50 now at over 70 with NO wobble.
it's worth the money..trust me!!

I hear ya. Swapped out both stock Dunlops for Metzlers last year and it is a noticeable difference. I don't expect to get the mileage out of the Metzs that I would the harder Dunlops, but that's a trade-off I can live with.

I hear you loud and clear Waterman. I have a set of Avon Venom Xs on their way because I am tired of waiting for the stockers that came on my bike to wear down.
I ran Avon Roadrunners on all my bikes previously because the stockers have caused too many close calls especially in wet conditions. I learned a long time ago to be very careful in the rain with Dunlops where-as with Metzlers or Avons there is alot more give if you need to stop faster or are taking alot of corners. They also handle the tar road crack fillers and bridge gratings better.
