Has any one installed a 7" head light on a Dyna? I have a 7" Truck Light I would like to install on my Dyna S What do I need? Any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dave
A 7" headlight is just way too big for the Superglide front end on a Dyna model as they stick out too far forward because of the overall size difference. You might as well get a Cyclops name patch for your cut 'cause that's what everybody is going to call you. It's been done, use the Search Function to look for the threads on it and you'll see what I mean.

I did it on my 94 FXSTC to do exactly what you're trying to do, It looked OK.
But the TL7 sucked for light output taking corners. JMO
The TL7 isn't in the bucket in the picture, and I went a different route.
This is just for reference.
I always felt the stock headlight on my Street Bob was too small so I put a fatboy light on. Used the same mount and it doesn't stick out much more than the old one. What really matters is that I like it a lot.
7" bucket with a Trucklite. Added a frenched ring to cover the overhang from the light bezel. Then added a 1/4 fairing. Great set up for long distance riding.

Yep nick, it's been done, looks good. I had a thread on mine somewhere here... including one where I cut my windshield to fit.
