Unable to find the plug for the siren II, I have removed the seat and side covers, nothing looks like the receiver on the siren. Am I looking in the right place?

yes, there are more wires back there. i think it was plugged into a dummy cap. easier if you pull the basket/carrier out a little
Just looked behind the headlamp, just a single wire type connector, not it. Looking for a 3 wire connector. I stripped all connectors out from under the seat and left side. Is it possible that I need to install this connector?

no. it is there. your main harness (bikes wiring/electronic backbone) is no different.
relax and take your time. follow the directions. the wire may be plugged into a dummy connection on the rear of the caddy. remove the caddy if you need to. there is, i think, a 10mm fastener holding it on. i'll get pictures in a minute.
for reference, the highlighter connection labeled "P&A/Diagnostic" shares the same branch as the siren connection. the P&A cable is in plain sight in your electronics caddy. it's the grey connector with the rubber stopper in it.
relax.. it's there
whats behind and running throught the left side electronics caddy:
I will remove the seat again and this unit this coming weekend.
Thank you very much for all your help, i will let you know how I make out next week,
Do you know what this fault is? It happens in first when I'm cracking it.

tip= dropped/tipped over
the bike thinks/thought it fell over. probably because you had the BCM hanging down while attached thing hanging in the picture.
that shouldn't happen often. if it does... no bueno
