Yeah, I don't care for the skeleton stuff either. Personally I also prefer the springer look with the shock on the front. I know the OLD springers didn't have one, but I just like it. The other thing that I don't like is how the front fender rides so high in the front. I'm sure it levels out a little when someone is riding it, but that looks horrible to me.
Anyhow, it is done to someone else's taste and it IS well done, I just don't like it. Thanks for sharing waterman7474. Your bike is looking great BTW.
Another is on the way. I am collaborating with our esteemed Mr. kpreese on details before I try to get my springer installed. I'll start a thread with pics and such once it's on there. I'm trying this with a 16"x3" wheel and a 130 tire. It looks "beefcake", but I'll have to see how it sits when it's all together.
