I have never cared for what I have heard called a tail dragger fender. I just think they make a bike look horrible, or at least I've never seen one that looks good where is curves down around the wheel and has that blunt end. [:@] However, I applaud them for standing out from the crowd and that's what having a harley is all about. Me...I like the chrome too much.

I really hate to **** in anybody's cornflakes but I don't like it either. Fenders look like ****. Stock pipes with slip-ons that don't match. The skeleton stuff looks like an afterthought. I also have a hard time believing it would make a magazine feature. The only thing cool about it is the springer front end.

Not in any way to kiss a$$ or make up for corn flake peeing, both yours and kpreese's bikes are better looking.

i agree, i think it looks kinda like all of it was thrown together without much thought and the sad part is, i think it WAS done with a lot of thought. the fenders look like they were just thrown on with no consideration for fit, just unwrapped, painted and bolted on. not prefit or cutting.

all the pieces individually in their own right are ok, but all together they just don't work.

it is a %#*$-hair past too much of everything. wheels are a little too red, springer is little too long, front and rear fenders are just too long, the seat is a little too noticeable, the pipes are a little too long and a little off-center, and a one skeleton too many.

don't get me wrong, i'll be the first to defend someone on the "to each his own" argument but sometimes i've seen 80k glam bikes (that i can't stand) that just look right. there's a difference between personal preference and pieces just not looking right together. maybe it's fung shue, or howeverthehell you spell it.

it is amazing how much leaner kpreeses' looks compared to that one.

... curious . sure looks like your bars are to far forward. you are leaned way forward in your pic. no back pain riding in that position ???
actually, i get a lot of people ask me that and it even looks uncoformtable but it is actually really comfortable to me. my lower back is pretty strong i guess since i have been water skiing and surfing since i was a kid. there's no strain, i just kinda naturally rest in that position with that combination of stuff. i had the bars further back and believe it or not, it started to bother my upper back and shoulders. in that position, i seem to find a balance between body weight and wind at about 70 that seems to work just right.
it's funny, those bars are so narrow and flat and just short enought they are more like high drag bars than mini-apes.

lotta good lookin bikes on here.

I like the skeleton on the front fender. Don't care for the front fender, or the rear, or the hands on the tank. but the skeleton on the fender, I like.

Agreed!

I had to adjust my bars several inches forward too. Way too awkward as-issued. Looks like yours are only a little further forward than mine. I was thinking about pushing them up just a tad more yesterday. It's been real comfortable for me, I've been wanting to go to 14" gimps.
