Springers on dyna glides just looks awesome. A springer looks right with the rear shocks, at least I think so. Go a hair longer than stock to lift the frame rails a bit in the front too. Perfection.
There were a few at sturgis last year but never really looked at one. However searching "springer street bob" on Google image shows a **** ton of em. Check it out.
I love a springer but to me, it just don't look right on a Dyna.. kinda like putting wide whitewalls on a new Corvette. IMO combining oldschool & modern seldom works.
It can look great done right. Call Three Two Choppers and they will go over any concerns, measurement issues that may arise. Now what kills the look of a Dyna is a spring seat. But thats a another topic.
On google images there was a street bob with a springer front end, spring seat, and a passenger pillion meant to go with the stock seat.
That just don't look right to me.
Like hard nox said, "if they're done right". I agree the Fxdb is supposed to look old school that's why I bought mine. They look good with apes and sissy bars , etc. while a springer isn't my style, I did like some of the ones I saw on google image.
