Default 55mph whine

I have started to notice, at between 53-57mph, I can hear a distinct whining noise, which seems to be coming from the rear, but I can't pinpoint it. I notice it more when I'm leaning on a curve, than I do when going straight up, and it seems to be louder when leaning to the right than to the left, but it's still there, though softer. If I go a little faster or slower, the noise seems to disappear. Any ideas on what might be causing it? All help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Jammer

Edit: Sorry! Forgot. This is a 2013 Dyna SuperGlide, which is new to me. Don't know much else.

Sounds like a wheel bearing on the way out.

As stated wheel bearings. Also belt alignment / adjustment and simply tire wear..

I also would say wheel bearings. I don't think belt alignment would cause this noise more or less when leaning, but it certainly is worth checking. How many miles are on the bike? Just curious. I had a similar noise on my lrs that I suspected was wheel bearings but I was replacing them anyway because I was having my wheels powdercoated. The noise was gone after they were replaced.

If you have "scorcher" tires, than it could be the siping on the tires. Mine are worn down now, and they howl when leaned over. I just replaced the wheel bearings 2400 miles ago. I hope it's not the damn bearings, again...

Well, bike has just over 3k miles on it, and it only had 1879 when I got it. I sure hope it's NOT the bearings! It is getting louder, though, especially when leaning to the left, and I'm noticing a lower "pitch" in it from 50 mph, which rises as I speed up, but it completely disappears about 58-60 mph. It has a sound like a "harmonic resonance" thing to me. The tires are stock, but not Dunlops (I hate Dunlops!), since they say "Harley-Davidson" on them. The tires, though, are looking a bit worn, and maybe I need to replace them and the bearings at the same time.

Thanks for all the advice!

easiest thing to check would be tires check for tread wear air pressure(refer to manual) cupping and production date

harleys are known to come out the factory not properly aligned so check that next then bearings don't always get greased good either check by lifting the bike up and spinning the wheel freely to replicate any noise.

I have what id guess is the same noise on my LRS. I’m pretty sure mine is tire noise cause I had a very similar noise from my 15 Low Rider and it eventually went away. Drove me nuts. I’m waiting for it to go away on my S now.

Whenever I go over 70, I get a whining sound coming from the back, but only when my wife is on...
