First questions is this. Did the '03 WG come with factory installed Back rest/sissy bar? The reason I ask is my '03(used) came with two sissy bars for my rigid mount sideplates, one mini and one low. The low one has the 100th Annv. badging on it so I assume it is stock. Well the meat of my question/concern is this...the mini is way to narrow and the low is a little wide. Meaning that when I install the mini it pulls the sideplates inward more than they should go and the low I have to slightly pull the sideplates apart to get it to fit. Then, to top things off I go to a dealership today and buy the mini that is supposed to go on my bike and it is SOOOOOOO tight that as I install it I can hear faint "cracking". Is all this normal? The low is tight as I said, but not really putting stress on the struts and sideplates like the new mini I bought does. Then to add more head scratching, the new mini does not have threaded holes like the other two I have do. They give you nuts and bolts to secure it. So I am at a loss here. I just want my sissy bars to fits as they should and I can't seem to get it to happen.
The first question you already answered, It came with the one that has the 100th badge on it. As far as being to tight I guess I've never taken the sissy bar off so I can't help you.

I just wasn't sure if the guy I bought it from bought a generic sissy bar and ordered a 100th Annv. badge for it. BTW your avatar is great. "I just lost a buck...to myself"....lol!!!!
