So I bought this American flag decal that seems perforated that goes right on the lens for the brake light last year at an event, and it made me really happy. I was rear ended last month and my tail light was smashed and there went my flag decal. Now I have searched high and low with many different word combos and I cant find another one... Anyone have any idea what I am talking about and where I can get another one without getting ripped off, please let me know. If it matters, it is for an 06 FXDLI.
Thanks in advance.
If you can't find one, that decal may be model and year specific.
The exact decal for 06 might not be available any longer, perhaps another year class will fit.

Um, I don't mean to be a jerk...but is covering your brake light after a rear ending (involving the same cover) really the best idea? Perhaps a different way to show your patriotism would be better. A nice flag decal for your helmet or patch for your jacket?
I hear you all. The decal does not obscure the brake light in any way. Honestly do not know about DOT regs. I do fly a flag in my vest and will put one in my new helmet once I get one.
As for being rear ended, I was sitting at a stop light at 8:15 AM and she claims a spider dropped down from her visor and she couldnât stop in tine.
I would never knowingly do something to limit my visibility on the road, especially in NYC.
I have attached a picture, maybe that will jog a memory. Thanks for all the replies.
Looks like standard perforated window film. Check with some of the local vinyl graphics shops or sign shops. Should be MANY in NYC. They should be able to make you anything you can imagine. Not sure on pricing, but I can't see it being real expensive.
Looks like an invitation to "give you crap" from an LEO.
And yes, covering a brake lens is a no no.
Regardless if it has "no effect."
You really believe the spider story? I though it was a bee, btw.
Anyone run one of those "Bright ***" brake lamps? They're real attention getters. Especially with the strobe.
I guess the next step would be a low power laser...
