FXRP fairing help
Are the light pod gaskets completely necessary?
The thin gasket around the outer edge of the flat housing.
Most pictures I see have them but I've seen a few fairings without them.
I was able to find rubber trim molding that fits it but honestly it looks a little out of place/messy to me and breaks up the lines of the fairing.
Anyone not using them? Will it hurt paint or anything else?
The paint will be fairly simple (I think) but may incorporate a strip or pinstripes around or across that area.
Anyway, gaskets no gaskets, paint schemes, painted pods, directionals, any experience, help or suggestions on the upper or lower fairings would be great.
