Tileman2692, I have a C&C Dyna fastback custom made to move me forward 1inch. I went a different direction on my bike as far as seats go. Ill sell it to you if youre interested, pm me and well talk.
I am also a little challenged. I got a Corbin custom made. Fits me like a glove. Quiet narrow. A little hard in the beginning, but really softens up after some rides. No numb ***. Great company to work with.

Another good option, need skinny for me and a wide comfortable pillion or back for the wife
At 5'8" have run into the Flat Foot Problem now and then .. With the Stock seat was easy but after an hour felt like sitting on a Brick, plus the wife does like to ride now and then and for her part this seat was even worse .. Went to the Mustang Vintage Wide which alone can Just Flatfoot it but with her extra weight makes it a bit easier .. Thinking possibly going to 12" Shocks over the present 12.5" and would probably take care of it all ..
This has been a concern for me when I switched from the 48 to the LRS. I'm an average height guy but with a short inseam, and getting a two up seat and still being able to keep the bike steady when my wife gets on or off, is difficult. Too much padding lifts me farther away from the pavement and reduces my foot contact area. So I'm in the market for a thinner driver seat with a plus passenger pad, and so far the only option that looks viable is LePera Cherokee.
I just put my lapera seat on my street bob yesterday. I had one on my sportster and i liked it so much i ordered another one for my sb. Im 5'9" and i flat foot it just fine. If anything i feel more in the bike w the new seat and raised forward it seems. The mid controls were so bothersome being use to forwards. W the new seat i feel like i need forwards or mid forwards. Backing up w the new seat is def an A+. I have better planting and traction. Something to push up against when backing up. I love this seat. Id get it for any other bike id purchase in the furture.
I have a similar problem. I am 5 foot 8 inches. I can flat foot my 2012 Wide Glide quite easily. For me the problem is I only seem to have the front third of my foot on the pegs it seems like. I just snagged a reduced reach seat on ebay for under $100. Should be here next week. I will update the threads with my findings! I was debating on either a 2014 or newer Fat Bob seat or the reduced reach. For the price I figured I'd snag the reduced reach and try that first.
I dunno how short is short to you guys but my 5'3" girlfriend can flat foot on my FXDL. It's a bit heavy for her though. In fact her VS800 Suzuki sits quite a bit taller.
It's not always how tall you are but your Inseam that counts .. My Daughter is 5'2" but has longer legs than I do at 5'8" ..
I'm 5'8", 29" inseem and have chubby thighs and have no problem flat footing any dyna. My legs are usually pretty close to the exhaust/primary but even wearing shorts I've only managed to burn myself over the years doing really stupid things.
When riding my sport bikes, I'm totally tippy toed...when backing up I look like a waddling duck...its quite hilarious.
Here's an old pic drag racing, doing a quick burnout in the water box to clean/warm the rear. Even wearing race boots I'm still tippy toed...my new gixxer is like 1" taller than the old one (old one pictured).
Power to the SHORT PEOPLE! buahaha.
Rode a 900RR for ten years and had to tippy toe the entire time. Never lost my footing (toeing?) during that time but now with a bike that cost several times what my CBR did, I'm extra paranoid. Especially with all the sand on the roads during spring time.
