Default Resolving "clunk"?

There is always something here about the front end clunk and I was wondering if anyone has tried this as a sollution. What got me thinking about is was looking at my stock bushings and seeing how they were pretty much dryrotted away. Could this cause some of this noise that escapes us? I am going to replace mine with this just because they need replaced. Has anyone upgraded these yet?http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/gma_product.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=84552444876452 3&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id

I put on a set when I added my apes. Stiffin's up the bars but has nothing to do with the clunk.

I installed some just a couple months ago. Like he said, stiffens bar, but nothing to do with clunk. Also just wanted to add that I have 6" risers on my mini apes and the poly bushings sure makes it feel more secure. At idle the bars seem to shake more, but still smooths out at speeds. verdict: I like them better than the rubber.

Wideglide95th, I love your bike man.Something about the paint job on those bikes rocks in my opinion.

As for the polyurethane bushings, I have heard from those that use them, the bars shake more but that's about it.
