does anyone know where to get a plain matte black battery cover for an 06? I’m looking to do some art on the cover and the stock covers come with the aluminum band. I need a cover free of the band, free of bolt holes and flush. Having a hard time tracking one. Any suggestions is appreciated

 

Just a guess, but I'd suspect the late model Dyna covers would fit. They don't have the band. Just a rectangular raised center portion. Not sure what year they changed but I imagine they're all the same thru 17. Probably screwed on the matte black, tho. I think they're all gloss or chrome. Could be wrong tho.

Looks like they got rid of the band in 2013.
