So, I thought we used to have a stick plastidip thread - but I cannot find it anymore.

Anyway, I was looking at all the options for plastidip and was shocked to see all the cool stuff you can do. What I'm looking for is a fire engine red metalic or metal flake. The red metalizer looks purplish on photos I see, but they used it on black base coat. I'm wondering if anyone has any experience using red or silver metalizer on red basecoat...

 

I only have tried the white and black. But maybe there is something in this thread.

I used the 'black' on my engine guards and fork bottoms and I wasn't impressed at all ! At least once a week I had to go over these parts with more Plasti Dip to cover the scrapes from road debris. It is easy to cover/recover but I don't think it is as long lasting as advertised...b.
