imho, its not just the stock bike, but what it allows you to create/customise/express, as invariably tis what happens. i have no experience to know which model, offers the most options to do this
not being blessed with creative vision, i unashamedly copy some of the ideas on this forum of others with the same or similar bike, which enhances my enjoyment
Street Bob, the heart and soul of all Harleys. Everything else is too much or too little.
It's exactly how a Harley should look like. The dual taillights, iconic for Harleys, the apes, same thing. Big tank, Looks great, Highly modifiable. Can make it anything you want.
It's all you need, nothing you dont.

A Street Bob is a great looking bike & really suits me & is really comfy. No space for missus though.
LRS is just amazing , I have never ridden a bike that makes me feel the way a LRS does. Just totally stupid grin happy. I'd probably kill myself doing something really dumb if I owned one though.
Love my old 2001 FXD. She has stuck with me through everything with never a minute's trouble. Just a great all rounder. Sheesh I love that bike.
Starting to like my FXDC 110th a lot too. Missus loves it.
Not fond of Wide Glides or Fat Bobs. I just can't get comfy on either of them.
FLDs, I am sort of on the fence , I like the back end but don't like the front end or the pipes.

When I was looking to upgrade the sportster, I called into one of the dealers and asked if they had one, guy on the phone said they just got in a used one with around 200 miles two days ago. I asked why so few miles and he said the guy that bought it a week ago traded it in on a Street Glide because it 'scared the sh** out of him'. The LRS sold the next morning.
