Combo speedo/tach (70900274) with Thundermax?

Combo speedo/tach (70900274) with Thundermax?
I purchased the HD combo speedo/tach P/N 70900274 and attempted to copy the odometer data from the ECM per the instructions. I never saw the "CHECK" or "OK" readings. The red security light blinked for about 60 seconds, and the readout displayed "NO CAL".
I'm sure this is because I removed the stock Harley ECM in favor of a Thundermax module years ago.
Has anybody found a workaround to this issue? I'm thinking I'll have to temporarily re-install the stock ECM and copy the data from it, but would love to hear there's an easier way.

Got it working. I reinstalled the factory ECM per the instructions here: http://ssdl1.cachefly.net/ThunderMax...I.pdf#view=fit
While it was on, I copied the odometer data to the new gauge, then reinstalled the Thundermax ECM. Everything seems good.
