Broken saddle bag bracket
So I picked up a 2002 low rider with 40000 mile from the OR.
I rode it a couple times before the 2ft of snow fell on us.
After removing the front right saddle bag bracket bolt, I noticed the eye of the bracket is broke right off where it bolts to the frame.
I was going to take it completely off and have it welded when I realized the lower part of the bag is actually riveted to the bracket , meaning it will be way to close to the leather to weld.
They are Harley hard leather bags.
Has anyone figured out a good way to repair this?
