Need to either get the stock slip'ons back or quiet them down. My Sporty 1200 has them w/o the baffles w/ TTI's and its loud! But I'd like to quiet down my 2006 FXDI35 for loner rides w/o my ears ringing up a storm afterwards. Any ideas!

If the SE mufflers are too loud for you, which are a tad louder than stock, going back to stock would be your best bet.
^^^That. I wear ear plugs just for wind noise in my half helmet. If you want to quiet down the mufflers though you can take out the baffles and add packing on to it. There are also quiet baffles for those pipes. https://www.jpcycles.com/product/442...amin-eagle-iis

Yeah, I wear plugs even with my full face. After a life spent working in factories, playing with guns, race cars, metal concerts, and wood working I grab ear and eye protection almost without thinking. Good ones are durable and comfortable but I also keep disposable foamies in my jacket pocket just in case.

Thanks folks appreciate the quick responses. I'll first try ear plugs and see if I like that solution, and go from there
If you're not already familiar with them, I'd start with foamies like pictured above and see if you can find a video on how to properly put them in. Proper fit and use is the key to both comfort and effectiveness. I use silicone but they do collect sweat in the ear canal on hot days so the foam backups work better if I know I'm gonna be sweatin.
