Let’s see your wide glide Fork Braces!

Looking to put a Fork Brace on my 17 FXDWG. What brand are you running? Pics greatly appreciated.

Custom Cycle Engineering TB 2649-1 WG. Fitment info will say it won't fit on a '10 - up Wide Glide, but trust me, it does

Does it mount to the slider right below the dust cap?

Wide glides don't need a forkbrace. The axle size and length gives them more than enough rigidity. But it's your cash.

You are correct - they don't need

Better brakes..., suspension.., bigger motor.., better clutch..., improved handling..., motor mounts..., higher torque starter.., battery..., improved fuel delivery...., lighting..., tires..., etc..., etc

Absolutely none of that **** is necessary - if you're willing to settle / if you don't have a goal

Or..., and especially - if you can't ride good / hard enough to take advantage of the improvements

There's a raised groove where the dust cap fits into the slider - there's a commensurate recessed groove in the brace
