Hello, I have a 2012 super glide with a 120R. I have the manual compression release valves already install. My question is will the automatic release valves go in the same holes the Manuel one are in? I want to replace them because it can be hard to start at times. Thank you for any help or advise.
I have auto releases on my road glide and manual one on my Dyns. I see no reason to go from manuals to automatic. All you have to do is get used to opening them up when you shut down the bike, otherwise they get very hot at the end of a gas stop.
If you choose to install the autos, you have to buy and install the wiring harness as well have the ECM programed.
Also, with a high compression motor, like a 120R, you would think that if they were needed, they would come installed...Does the motor turn over slow on startup ?

After riding if I open the valves , if it doesn't start by the second try it ends up killing the battery. I have never tried to open them as soon as I stopped just right before I start it.
