This is simple to do . Because the automatic and manuals have different threads, you'll need those adapters.
Get the automatic releases from harley or wherever .
There's 2 wires .one to ground, and the other to the starter relay. Grab a test light and figure out what relay terminal is power when the starter button is pushed. Hook to that power.
Every time you push the starter button, the releases are opened. Let go, closed.
This is the simplest and best way to do this.
No ecm programming, no toggle switch, no bullshit manual releases that close half way through startup.
The downside is that the automatic releases are kinda big hanging off the side of the head. But well worth it for battery and starter life.
