I posted the pictures below about a month ago and some good hearted folks on here helped me id it as an FXD. Pretty much confirmed that when I ran the VIN which showed it at least came off the line as that. I'm eliminating the fender mounted taillight and would like to maintain the same profile for the fender w/o the "oval track" area where the light mounted. I found a local guy that was willing to give it a go but now a cardiac event has forced him to retire. I still figure my best shot is to find a donor fender which would allow me to reduce the metal work to "cut and replace." Anybody got one that has enuf salvageable metal to, pardon the pun, fill my bill?
